This occurs only whilst gaming sessions as I havent seen it during normal use which leads me to believe its a driver issue. The game is developed and published by Digita.
Not entirely sure if that fixed it completely but I guess BL1 did something with my graphic card perhaps. Description of Original Problem: The issue at hand: When playing any game, GTA 5, Overwatch, Warframe and others after a few hours of gameplay the PC will have a green screen and then restart. Warframe is a cooperative free-to-play third-person online action video game based on an evolving sci-fi world. I downloaded old BL1 today and got the same kinda crash 3 times in a hour in Warframe that I used to get in BL1 which was gone after I uninstalled BL1 + ran short DirectX9 driver folder from Warframe and it found some files to copy instead of saying it is on newest version. It is also somehow affecting all my other games like BL2 / TPS. It is easier to say my entire pc crashes thanks to the game or rather since the original BL1 and that nearly consistently in a short time. Sometimes I can still hear my buddies in teamspeak but trying to close the game is useless and need to forcefully shutdown my pc. I personally used the easy way out and got a new laptop, since mine was on the older side anyway. In short my whole pc becomes unresponsive, my screen changes to a single color, at the moment it likes to be a light beige. Even then I would say Warframe is one of the best-optimized games that still run well on my PC, around 200+ FPS at all times. The game was different back then if you compare it from the build that we have now. If you try the down-clocking please share your results. Warframe is old now, the game was announced back in 2013, hundreds of updates have taken place.
not to discourage you, but perhaps save you time, if that doesn't work and your issue is similar, reinstalling game, video drivers, windows, toying with the game or the Nitro's settings, clearing caches doesn't help. The problem can also go away on restarting Steam. I do believe that down-clocking might actually do it, since I've reached the conclusion that since the Nitro is in fact not a gaming laptop, mainly because it's on the thinner side and doesn't have the gaming build a predator has for instance, it can't cool properly and Warframe isn't helping the GPU either.Īnyway. 2 Warframe Cannot Connect Online Make sure that the game is not being blocked by the firewall or any other security tool on your PC. When I used a cooling pad it was somewhat better at times, however Step 2: Click the Gaming setting on the Settings window.
Step 1: Click the Windows icon on the taskbar and then click the Settings icon.
On restart the device wouldn't recognize the NVDIA, so another restart would be required.Īpart from down-clocking I've tried everything else and nothing seems to work. If the issue OBS crashing has not been solved, try disabling the Windows 10 game mode. However, some of them are complaining that CPU overclock is crashing games. The issue appears to have been fixed with Razer Synapse 3. Many users are overclocking their hardware to get better performance in games.
This either resulted in game crash or a BSOD most of the time. If the game crashed automatically by itself while logging in your account without Evolution crash report window popped up, it seems to us that, most of the time, it was caused by specific versions of Razer Chroma SDK that you installed (or installed and then uninstalled before). The crashes were only caused by either returning to orbiter or opening some in game menu like the map or the codex, not with a 100% chance of occurrence. Weird thing, sometimes it wouldn't crash for days, sometimes it would be unplayable.
I made sure they did a stress test on the GPU. The GPU was fine, however, as I did take the device for maintenance. I have a bit older nitro than yours, some I7, 6G ram, GTX860m, the crashes in my case were caused by issues with the GPU.
